eBay My World: wtyates( 90)

Although I have been a member of Ebay since 2000, I have only recently completed my first Listing. I have enjoyed selling so far and I reckon I will stick at it for a while anyway.

I mainly sell Woodcraft. The woodcraft I sell was handmade by myself and I used reclaimed waste timber wherever possible. I used to have an arrangement with Hardware shops, Timber shops and friends. that they would keep all their offcuts and general waste wood and I would collect it occasionally and take it to my workshop to be used to build my products. I only had to pay around 50% of the wholesale cost of the wood which made it possible for me to keep my prices down. My main intention has been to produce a first class excellent quality product with minimum wasteage of what I regard as a valuable resource in Timber. I ceased building a few years ago due to health reasons and now I am selling my stock that has been left over. A bonus of buying my products is that you will have unique products which have not been massed produced so there are limited quantities of each item. I was born in Tasmania and travelled extensively with my career in the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) and have arrived in Canberra in 1988 and lived here since. I have my own home and my workshop is combined with my car garage. Canberra is a beautiful city and similar to Tasmania in some ways, particularly the climate. I have a wife and one beautiful 14 year old child (girl) who used to help me when and wherever she could with the building of the products.

I mainly use Australia Post to send my products. I do usually allow pick-ups where possible.

I will replace anything broken when returned to my address or supply photo of broken item.
