Collectables
I collect a wide range of items. Condition is paramount before price.I expect all old items are genuine and will pursue sellers pedaling fakes.
I consider any prospective purchase with the old saying in mind, 'Buyer be ware.'I don't expect a secondhand item to be like new (although some are!)but if you advertise something as good condition and when I receive it I find major flaws, then I will be sending it back for a refund.
The vast majority of Ebayers are honest traders so if you do the right thing,I will be a loyal customer and provide you AAA+ feedback.

Post Cards
I use specialised techniques to check if a postcard is genuinely old and not produced on a laser printer/computer under 'photoshop' type software, which is very common on Ebay. A fake is obvious by, correct for the period colour balance, brightness and depth, together with examining the printing which exhibits a 'bleeding' into the card under high magnification. Old tricks like artificually aging the card with 'edge ware' or slight 'corner creases' or so called 'age stains' usually flag a con artist. Some of my forensic techniques employ ultraviolet and ultrawhite light so I will know if you are trying to dud buyers acting in good faith.
If I ask you to show the reverse side and you decline to respond then it is obvious you are concealing a fake. I would encourage you to consult the Queensland Criminal Code's section on counterfeit and deception and ask yourself if the dollars are worth it. Honest Ebayers have my loyalty but I will pursue frauds.
Payment and Postage.
It is reasonable a seller receives payment promptly so I follow that rule. I am not interested in waiting days until it suits you to post my item. Three days max to go on the Aust.Post camel or I'm looking for a refund. If I ask you to kindly advise when posting my item and I don't hear from you, then I'll follow up and ask why. I don't do bank transfer so the final PayPal invoice should include post charges. You cannot refuse PayPal under Ebay terms and conditions or demand I take out Registered mail. I choose if Registered mail is appropriate. It's best you don't gouge postal charges in this area. If you don't invoice same promptly, I will calculate it for you and pay online.
