I started selling on Ebay to clear out some excess inventory from my sewing business, which carpal tunnel has forced to give up. I now have much more time to search out sewing and vintage items to sell. That's the excuse I give my husband, anyway!

Many items I offer are sewing and quilting related. I have worked in the sewing industry since receiving my trade school Fashion Design degree in 1971. This includes custom clothing design, clothing alterations, sewing educator, retail sales, embroidery design digitizer, and embroidery software educator. The vintage and antique items I offer come from a deep passion for collecting that I share with my huband. The vintage photo I use for my avatar is my grandmother with her parents in 1901. Her rural farmhouse home inspired my passion and often I think I look for things I remember from my childhood in the 1950s - as do most collectors, I suspect.

I ship almost exclusively with USPS and use the shipping calculator in each listing to calculate as accurately as possible your shipping costs. I print postage online and every item has Delivery Confirmation. My local postoffice scans all packages at acceptance, so you will know when the package is shipped - almost always within 24 hours of cleared payment, and never more than 2 business days. Please remember that after that point I have no control over how long your package is in transit. As I use DC on every package, even a 1oz. 1st Class parcel or envelope will be $1.35 in postage. I recycle packing materials as much as possible to keep costs low, but I still have label printing supplies, tape, envelopes, bubble wrap, and packing materials to buy. So I have to add some handling charges to cover those expenses. The maximum handling fee will be a very modest $2. I do combine shipping if it saves money, multiple purchases can be automatically combined by Ebay, except for free shipping.

Most items are accepted for return if not as described or will not function. Many design software items are not unless they are not working. Refunds are given for auction amount and buyer pays return shipping.
