An Engaging & Riveting Movie
Unlike the Hollywood action movies this one done by a smaller film company doesn't rely on special effects to tell a good, engaging story. Lee Pace does a very good job as the amnesic soldier, and proves he can deliver a strong performance as a leading action man. The other characters are engaging, the plotline (despite a few little holes) holds your attention, the aliens are creatively designed, and the end while satisfying also leaves an opening for a sequel. Overall I'm giving this one 10/10 for performances, 9.5/10 for story and 9/10 for special effects.

Sean Bean at his finest! Marvellous collection of movies! Definitely A+++
I admit I bought this item due to Sean Bean being the lead role and I was not disappointed. This is a completely outstanding collection of films based during the Napoleonic wars in which Sean Bean plays Richard Sharpe, a common soldier from the ranks, who through courage, sheer audacity and intelligence manages to help the Duke of Wellington defeat the French and an assortment of other enemies within his own army. Although the battle scenes may not be on par with a movie like Lord of the Rings they are nonetheless very well done and Sean certainly gets to show his skill with a sword quite frequently. The series is filled with intrigue, drama, action and humour, with a bit of romance thrown in for the ladies!! Overall a very enjoyable series and a must for any fan of Sean Bean.
