Though I'm no expert I've been interested in early radios the late 70's.My first were in Germany a 51 Blaupunkt,50's Lowe Opta and some others I can't remember. Then in the 80's as I returned to Aust. I fell for a 49/50 HMV radiogram, and from there on built up a collection of all sorts of radios, radiograms and gramophones. In the 90's when they became harder to find I somehow also lost interest and started selling off the collection of around 50 radios and 10 gramophones, what a fool. Lately I refound that interest but more in the line of American radios, they seem to have a different style which is not seen in the average Aust. models. So now the collection is up to around 18 and counting, I'll probably will look at some Aust. made models but only something a bit out of the usual.
