The tyre was described as 80% tread but was nowhere near that,contacted seller and he refunded no problem.Bit of a waste of my time and money to send back unfortunately.I’ve seen the same tyre has been resisted and still described as 80% tread,buyer beware…

I take pride in trying to estimate the tread depth as near as possible and will under estimate rather than over state. The Avon has an unusual tread pattern that fills the lines down the centre but there are no tread wear indicators in this part of the tread. The tyre is round, does not have a worn flat spot and I still believe it has near 80% of tread left. Buyer be aware.
