My aim in my eBay business is to look after my customers so that they are completely satisfied with the items they buy from me. Occasionally, an item is bound to arrive in a less than perfect condition. Tell me and I will discuss a refund with you.

I started off in computers 25 years ago when my first computer was a Sinclair ZX1 with 1KB of memory! I learned a lot about computers and other things in the RAF where I served for 25 years before emigrating from England to Australia in 1992. I worked in Brisbane, Darwin and Dubbo as an environmental health officer and policy officer for state governments before deciding to semi retire as a PC repair guy. I have since branched out into the world of eBay selling mainly customised gifts which I have drop shipped from Hong Kong.

I will accept PayPal as my first choice, direct debit to my bank account is OK too and while I accept personal cheques, people have to understand that I can't ship out the goods until after payment is cleared. I don't mind cash for those items that can be collected in my local area.

For PCs, I will always try to provide weight and dimensions so that people can gauge just how much postage is likely to be to their locations. With personalised items, I charge just AU$4 worldwide, reducing to AU$2 for each additional item.

My policy is to accept returned goods with 100% cost refund, as long as the item is returned to me first. The person returning the item has to pay the return postage.
