The difference between drawing a cartoon and being a cartoonist
This book is 318 pages, larger than A4, and packed full of instruction on how to make a professional cartoon or comic. The instructions are very detailed and feature a lot of failed comics to show how things should not be done and why not.
I bought five books on cartooning at the same time and only now after reading and studying all the others am I coming to this one. It won't teach you how to draw, for that you want the Walter Foster book "Cartooning". It will however teach you how to draw a successful comic, one that could be sold if you choose or otherwise used professionally.
I consider this to be the best cartooning book currently available, although that said it is intended to finish a training course rather than start one.

Glass chess set - beauty and fashion and entertainment
The glass chess board is a thing of beauty, I get entranced just looking at it and I forget to put it down. The glass chess pieces have a seam running vertically around the thin edge. It isn't a problem and you only notice it when you pick up a piece and study it closely. The inside of the chess pieces is hollow.
When the chess set is laid out on its board it makes the whole room look classier. When playing chess the pieces have a good smallish size and feel very comfortable. I did have to glue on a few of the felt bases that had come off but that is a small thing and easily fixed by a $1 tube of superglue.
As a chess set this is a great success. As a bit of room fashion it is an even greater success.

Great product but make sure your device supports 32GB first.
Great little memory card like all SanDisk products, and it is my preferred brand so I use them all time. This card simply works with no problems and no issues.
That said, there are many issues with 32GB MicroSD cards and most devices don't support MicroSDs of that capacity but I have found that a few that say they don't actually do. If your device can handle 32GB MicroSDs then this is an excellent choice as it is well made and trouble free.
