My name is Mike Farrace. OptikRock.com is my company. I started as a rock writer for the Sacramento Union and later had my own magazine, Rock N Roll News. I worked for many happy years at Tower Records as a clerk, artist and buyer, and at the ad agency as an account manager and media buyer. I started and published Tower's Pulse! Magazine for around 20 years, and started and/or advised Tower mags in the UK, Japan, Mexico and Taiwan. I also wrestled Tower onto the Internet, starting with America Online's first record store in 1993 and launched towerrecords.com in 1995. During those many years I have been an inveterate collector of all kinds of musical things. I have bought stuff at record stores, street fairs, flea markets and from collectors in places all over the US and the world for around 40 years. I left Tower and started OptikRock in around 2002, using my great collection as the 'starter' for all the great stuff you see here on eBay.
