I'm an avid knitter, and first learnt to knit when I was 7 and I've been knitting ever since. I had a break in my 20's when it seemed to be uncool, but took it up again with renewed enthusiasm when my sister had her first baby.

I sell mostly baby hats, toddler hats, and newborn hats...with a few booties & other baby items when I can fit them in. I adapt generally old vintage patterns and update them with colourful yarn, great buttons and beautiful ribbon. After talking to a lot of young modern Mums including my sister & friends, they seem to want good quality, simple, unfussy washable items, so that's what I specialise in. I don't and never will adorn my items with flowers, lace, pearls etc, and you will never catch me doing a headband!! So if you are after somthing for your little one that is simple, striking, functional, modern sometimes quirky and well crafted with love and care, you'll get it from me. As I am also relatively young myself I tend to knit things that I would happily put my own children in. I'm not really a fan of all that fussy old fashioned knitting that still seems to be out there!

I love buying yarn and I could virtually open my own shop with the yarn I have. I love buying knitting books, vintage patterns and the odd bit of clothing.

I don't collect anything much, but I love vintage tea cups and saucers, more so because I love tea. I also collect cake stands as I love to bake.

Knitting, reading, eBaying, AFL Football, Go Swans, Cooking, Watching TV, Cinema & travel...my last overseas trip took in Croatia, Slovenia and Bosnia.

I love anything by Roddy Doyle, Douglas Kennedy and I more or less read anything and everything when I can and time permits, and when time doesn't permit I love to download books to my iPod and listen instead. I'm also an avid reader of cook books, especially Bill Granger & Rachel Allen.

Sarah McLachlan, Patty Griffin, David Gray, George Michael, Texas, Keane, Snow Patrol....I tend to like songs rather than artists, and being a child growing up in the 70's & 80's...tend to be a fan of music of that era.

Eastenders, Coronation Street, Private Practice, Martha Stewart Show, The View, The Colbert Report. I'm a fan of Foxtel and love most things on UKTV & I love watching cooking shows and I'm a big fan of the News.
