Didn't last and very expensive, disappointed.
This Acu-Rite thermometer had many great features like the programs for the different meats, I loved that and it worked so well too.
However, this unit failed after much usage (domestic) for twelve months or more. It was out of warranty when it suddenly started giving wildly inaccurate temp readings and couldn't be trusted.
Acu-Rite in the USA couldn't help me, they offered suggestions but none worked.
So yes it's a great thermometer when it worked even though it was expensive but obviously I'm disappointed with it's short life. We now use a cheaper push in probe thermometer with a meter on it, it's a Weber that doesn't use batteries and is just great.

Needing a new backpack is the perfect time to change brands but I didn't and I'm glad for that.
My previous backpack was a Tempo 30, I had it for 8 years until the two waterproof zips failed.
They were vulcanized with no stitching, I stitched them up many times over the years.
So I finally bought a Tempo 40 hoping Blackwolf had addressed this zipper issue.
Yes they have, the two failed zippers are now much larger and stronger.
This pack is 10L bigger than my last pack which feels significant but is still manageable on long walks.
It still has the same aluminium frame and great shoulder straps which were the main reason I bought the Tempo 30.
These packs are truly comfortable and cool to wear although in hotter climates my back still got sweaty.
The Tempo 40 is a great improvement on my old Tempo 30 overall with bigger stronger zippers and some small design changes in the waist band.
My old hydration pack simply swaps over too which was another reason to stick with the Tempo.

Early days but impressive so far
1 of 1 found this helpful I've only had the Xiaomi Mi S500 shaver for just over one week.
I'm using it everyday mostly for dry shaves after I have a shower but yesterday I used it with shaving cream for the first time.
The cream made shaving so much easier, the shaver slides smoothly and the cut is equal to or better than shaving dry, probably because I move it more than dry where it tends to grip the face more.
It leaves very little mess surprisingly and the wash up was super easy, less difficult than removing the cut hair after a dry shave in fact.
The battery is currently at 50% but my wife has used it for some long sessions on her legs too so that battery usage is understandable.
She likes it for her legs but the hairs that lay flat take some work to cut as expected, but she likes it overall.
I've ordered another shaver the same model but it comes with a trimmer and nose hair cutter, the other one will be my wifes.
