My Headphone Search Is Finally Over!
1 of 1 found this helpful Before I start this review, let me just say that I have owned several brands of headphones such as Audio Technica, Superlux and own the rest of the Bluedio range as well. So I definitely have a wide array of headphones that provided me with reference points and consider myself to be able to spot sound quality given that I am a music producer and DJ.
____________SOUND (10/10)____________
These headphones are an absolute masterpiece in all respects. They have such a wide frequency range that the sound literally blows you away (I think this is due to the 12 drivers that the headphone has).
What really sets these headphones apart is the ability to have such an amazing low-end with deep, pristine bass, whilst still maintaining clarity across the mids and highs. I am a slight bass head, but also needed a set of headphones with a wide soundstage and accurate sound reproduction and these are the only set which could satisfy these criteria. The 12 drivers also allow for amazing surround sound so these are also absolutely amazing if you decide to use them for movies.
But overall, given the fact that these are able to produce high-class, clean bass whilst having stunning mids and crispy highs, I would have to give the sound quality 10/10 and would say that these unequivocally outperform headphones even in the $300 range.
_________COMFORT (8/10)______________
Upon reading reviews a major complaint was that these were too heavy and that they could not be used for too long. However, I have used these for over 3 hours at the gym and over 5 hours at work with no issues whatsoever, but then again maybe other people may have weaker neck muscles than me. The point is, although reviews have been negative I have had no issues with the weight of these and consider the cushions to be really soft and comfortable, although they can get slightly warm after a few hours use.
_______VALUE (10/10)_________
Overall the value you are getting with these is absolutely insane. You get a hard-cover carry case, optical cable (which is so hard to come by and useful for amps), aux cable and charging cable. Additionally, the battery life on these is amazing they last a week or two without a charge and I use them every single day for a few hours. Furthermore, the passive noise cancelling on these is outstanding, I literally can't hear anything with these on and they cancel more noise than my ANC headphones. Lastly, these headphones actually fold up nicely which makes them okay for most travel situations so I would say they are fairly portable to a certain extent. Based on this premise I would have to say that these score full marks in the value department.

Whilst these headphones are literally perfect there are a few things which may bother some. Firstly, there is quite a bit of sound leakage so they may not be suitable for all office environments. Secondly, the sound on wired mode is not as good as Bluetooth mode, however, buying a DAC will solve this problem. Lastly, as the other reviews have mentioned they are a tad heavy (although you can still use them for gym quite easily) and the headband is a bit long which looks a bit strange sometimes if you are overly concerned with aesthetics.
________Conclusion______
These are the best headphones I have used in my life. I have been searching for the perfect pair for over 6 months and after trying countless pairs and researching more than I would have liked to, I can gladly declare that you cannot go wrong with these and that they will comfortably outcompete every headphone within this price range.
Bluedio have really outdone themselves and getting sound quality that is at this level for less than $200 is an absolute steal and I am honestly so happy that I found these!
