All in One lens covering 18mm wide to 200m tele range.
This lens is ideal for travel. the 18-200 range is useful for most conditions. Lately I have been travelling overseas every month and I only take this one lens with me. Build quality is good. Useful for: landscapes (nature, buildings etc), indoor photography with a flash. Not useful for: high speed sports or fast moving objects. Nikon also has the 18-300 version but to me the extra 100mm is not very useful. I have printed 20" x 40" size canvas prints using this lens on a D90 and the colours and sharpness is very good. Highly recommend this lens to anyone who wants something better than the kit lens you get (18-55 or 18-105 or 55-200) without breaking the bank.
