Fantastic camera.
After a lot of research I settled on this kit. Right from the first photo it has been fantastic. All of the different basic settings are clearly explained in the on camera guide although most of the time it is set on auto everything.
Fairly light for its' size with a battery that never seems to go flat. The zoom is reasonable considering you can zoom in a long way on the computer without losing much in the picture quality. I will be looking at a bigger zoom lens next though.
Can process the pictures in a couple of formats. I started using the highest quality NEF format. once it is transferred to the computer and using the supplied program, they are fantastic photos. You will have to convert them back to a JPEG if you want to view or use the picture in most other programs. Now I have changed back to taking the picture in highest quality JPEG format. These are still awesome photos and you can easily use them in most programs.
