Now that I'm retired, I do occasionally go on vacation. I have family all over the US and love the chance to see them more now that I am not working. When I go on vacation, my store will be closed. I'll open it back up as soon as I get home, so feel free to come back at that time and browse.

I work very hard to ship either the same day or the next day. I know everyone is waiting for their purchase so I try not to delay shipment.

If I made a mistake, I'll gladly fix it. If there is an issue with an item, let me know and we'll discuss it. But if you just changed your mind, please remember I'm not Wal Mart and returns cost me money. So be sure before you buy!

Buyers, please remember that I have to pay for a lot of things to ship an item to you. Bubble envelopes, packing materials, labels, printer ink, tape... they all cost me money. I'm allowed to off set these costs by charging a handling fee which is built into my shipping costs. I try to keep it down, but it is a necessary part of doing business. To expect me to charge actual costs for shipping is not practical, I would lose money on each and every sale. So please be reasonable about the fact that a handling fee is necessary. If you think my shipping & handling costs are too high I would rather you didn't purchase the item. Coming back later and zapping me for a cost that is clearly stated is not nice.

The cost of shipping has gone up. I think a lot of buyers have no idea what it costs to ship even the smallest package. Before you complain, do a little research and find out what a package costs to ship. USPS fees seem to go up on a regular basis. There are times that I actually lose money on the shipping because I charge a flat fee. If an item is going somewhere far away, it can raise the cost of shipping as much as 50%, which I absorb.
