Hey Mandy - I just noticed this from you....wasn't deliberately being a SNOB! Hope all is well in your parts - and your hair, silky smoothe!

Driving around with darling husband-spotted a dress-no! LABEL of dress in a Tailor shop window-Banshee yelling stop! I get out and run into shop and begin conversation with non english speaking Tailor about 'the dress' in the window-MUST HAVE IT-want it-pay money!Darling husband forked out 200DHS for me to have the old 1950's Guipure Lace and Organza ball gown-with gorgeous 3/4 medieval style sleeves and boat neck! Gold Lace and gold organza over duck blue taffeta underskirt-size 10. Heaven!! I now have a NEW addiction to compliment the other new addiction(s)-scouring the Tailor Shops for their old frocks-which they still use as patterns today!!(and they have NO idea gnuck gnuck gnuck!)Their workmanship is outstanding! &they leave nothing to chance. Some of the lovely under abaya wear is very 70's! and the fabric shops-well-I have more to say about them! I did get one 70's style long sundress custom built-from a funky floral.Not sure if I'll list the 1950's gown-just yet!
