I have been searching all over Australia for gemstones and minerals since I was a young boy. My parents were members of a lapidary club and during school holidays we would travel to the most remote places camping and searching for gemstones. Over the years I learnt a lot about gemstones and minerals and how, with patience and time, it was possible to take a raw stone and turn it into a beautiful gemstone. As I grew older I became aware of the importance of the quality of the finding used to create the piece of jewelry. I was particularly interested in sterling silver findings, but found that I lacked the talent required to make quality findings for my gemstones. By chance on a trip to Indonesia, I discovered the extremely talented artisans in Bali creating beautiful findings and jewellery. Over time my interest grew and I eventually moved to Indonesia where I married a beautiful Indonesian woman. Together we started a family and Global Silver Factory.

Global Silver Factory accepts payments by PayPal only for international buyers. Australian buyers can also pay by Bank Deposit, Australia Post Money Order, or by cheque. If you would like to take advantage of the additional item shipping discount then please defer your payment until you have finished bidding on our items. We give our buyer 7 days to bid on our items before we request payment.
