My kids now want to clean the floors.
2 of 2 found this helpful The mint robotic cleaner was a fun way to clean the floors. It does not do a great job of cleaning, but it really does get the kids involved in cleaning. It is light weight so very easy for my 6 year old to pick up, he loves it and hassles me to use it regularly.
Pros: It is very quick, almost silent, light weight, simple to use, fun to use, battery seems to be more than capable, power supply that will work with 110V or 240 volts, construction appears to be quality.
Cons: Does not clean well, only good for slightly messy floors, little bit fiddly changing cloths, almost impossible to get the compatible swifter disposable wipes in Australia.
I also have a neato robotic vacuum cleaner. The mint is a lot cheeper, but together they work well enough (just be prepared to use it more often than you would manually clean floors).
The alternative I was looking at was the scooba, but it is was too expensive, too heavy for kids to use, and given we have very little tiled areas I could not justify it.
Given what I know now, would I get a mint again. Yes! But I am the type of guy who likes these sort of things, but if you are reading this review you are probably that type of person as well.
