Short on cash to race motorcycles, I seriously started riding bicycles in Western Michigan when I went to school at WMU. Fell in love with Fort Custer, Yankee Springs, and the Potto trail in Brighton, MI. Love for riding grew into road riding and eventually to triathlon. Went back to racing motorcycles for a brief stint as funds where available. Finally realized that my career in manufacturing and engineering wasn't fulfilling so I started importing carbon bike parts in 2003. From there, grew the business out of my basement which eventually became Cadence Cycle out of Saline, MI. Cadence grew to the point where we sold it in 2008. Moved to Texas and started Cycle Club Sports with my wife. We are family operated and those employees that aren't family are our best friends. I have great joy in the fact that we all work and play together and share a common goal at being the best bicycle company that we can be. We are here to stay and are a viable business for the future of cycling.
