The Closetnista was born when two longtime friends launched their company in December 2010. With fashion expertise, keen eyes and good ears, Tara and Elizabeth are helping women of all ages edit, update, and revamp their wardrobes.

Elizabeth and Tara met while both working in the apparel industry for a contemporary fashion line. Together they have 10+ years working in fashion as sales executives, traveling all over the world meeting with buyers of distributors, department stores, online retailers, and boutiques. Needless to say, their wardrobes became a bit overwhelming from the constant exposure to all the latest styles the fashion industry had to offer! Most items still had tags on them or were lightly worn and in perfect condition, so what to do other than giving it all away? At the suggestion of a friend, they started selling their clothes on Ebay and to their amazement they discovered a huge market for lightly worn clothing. They quickly realized what a great service it would be to do the same for other women. Cleaning out their closets, updating their wardrobes, and making money at the same time!

We accept Paypal and on occasion personal checks mailed in advance.

We try our very best to ship items within 1-2 business days via USPS Priority Mail. As a rule, all international shipping must be done via Priority Mail so that we can track your package in case it gets lost in the crazy mail system.

We understand that sometimes you change your mind or an item doesn't fit like you would like it to. We accept returns 7 days from receipt for a full refund less shipping. Buyer to pay return shipping.
