Comment by Bonnie on July 25, 2010 at 11:47pm I collect antiques and collectibles and sell also on ebay, i used to have a large old victorian house that was a block away from the Truman home in Independence, mo. A judge used to live in it the days when harry truman lived in his house on Delaware, i had 13 rooms and all filled with antique furniture and figures, etc. there was a history behind the house i lived in, the large 2 car garage in the back of the house used to be a place where Harry and his freind the judge had a bar with tables that folded up against the walls in which are still there til this day only half of the bar is still there, i lived there for several years in the year 2000 til 04, harry and his freind had friends over and played cards drank and probably gambled too i supect. the Truman house is still being shown to the public and the city has a horse and buggy that rides thru the neighborhoods to see his house among others that are historic as mine was.
