A must for any bass player trying to master reggae or ska styles
Ed Friedland is a bass guru. Highly skilled, mega-talented, creative and a world-class teacher.
I highly recommend any of Ed's teaching resources and online reviews to any bass player, despite the fact that Ed adopted my eBay name as his official monicker lol (a complete coincidence).

Great repro picks
The Jim Dunlop company has done a great job on these picks, I like them a lot. They give a different playing feel and tone to the Gravity and V picks I mainly use.

Great grippy picks
I’ve tried them all, and have hundreds of plectrums in various gauges, styles and materials, in the eternal quest to find a pick that allows me to play fast/staccato funk strumming. This is the one I recommend. Flexible, great grip, great tone and affordable. Give the boutique picks a miss and try the Dunlop Max Grip range - they’re absolutely awesome!
