Things I buy

The thing I love about ebay as a buyer is that you can find almost anything on the website. My wife and I wanted to take the kids from the UK to Croatia on a motorcycle and sidecar and guess what we found the perfect vehicle on ebay! We had a blast on the motorcycle and side car for a month and will have those treasured memories forever. Once we’d finished we resold it on ebay and the new owner was planning a trip from the UK to Spain so the adventures continued!

Things I collect

We as a family used to live on a boat on the Thames in London so we have been conditioned over the years not to hoard or collect things. It’s quite liberating not to have “stuff”.

I love getting out on my mountain bike to off road places like Manly Dam in Sydney and ploughing into the odd rock and tree that are always coming in the opposite direction at high speed! I enjoy quality time with my family, I had to take on a career change to make that happen and we also moved from London to Sydney to obtain this goal but it is the best hobby in the world being a husband and dad.

Favourite Books

I’m experiencing a huge transition in my life now so am reading a lot of self development books. Life changing is Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki. It completely changed a huge amount of my negative belief systems. Life Lessons by Elisabeth Kubler-Ross and David Kessler has helped immensely with the loss of a close family member. Life is for living now in the present no the past or future but now!

Favourite Movies

I love “What’s Eating Gilbert Grape” (1993) with Jonny Depp and a very young Leonardo DeCaprio. I really related to experiences Jonny Depp’s character was going through. I great script is a must for me.

Favourite Music/Bands

My taste I’ve been told is somewhat dubious so best leave it there!

Favourite TV Shows

I’m a sucker for the Pop Idol (see Favourite music/band for reference) vain of programmes. I think it’s the average Joe doing good that really grabs me. I have been known to shed a tear or two. Maybe that’s a little bit too much info!
