eBay My World: anniebfine( 1453)

being a dedicated bowerbird & recycler, i've been scouring op shops & garage sales for more years than i care to remember...i cant keep it all, i've run out of space. but i discovered eBay and the rest, as they say, is history!

all things interesting, old and collectable (and occasionally practical), things that have once been loved and are waiting to be loved again. things that catch my eye as being unique and having a certain integrity. things i'd like to keep myself!

surprise, surprise, ...op shopping! but being a bit of a tree-hugger, i also find time to plant lots of trees and tend my garden (all 8 acres of it...well, i try). i do a bit of yoga too. i love camping and going bush, looking at, listening to and identifying birds. and trying hard to live an ethical, compassionate life and do my bit to honour the planet.

i love reading ecology/environment/gardening books, art/architecture books and i'm a bit of an armchair traveller. on the fiction side of things, i recently read 'eucalyptus' by murray bail, which i thought was great. i love indian writers like arundhati roy and gita mehta. etc. etc.

i love bob dylan, leonard cohen, paul kelly and tom waits alongside bach, brahms and beethoven. add a bit of keith jarrett and miles davis and then some medieval folk tunes. not to mention folk music from all the world over, both traditional and contemporary and that's just a start.
