Quality Manufacture
Every thing a dogs lead should be. It is very smooth in operation and the "Immediate Stop" and "Permanent Stop" buttons work well and need no effort to use. I purchased a 8mt tape lead and I, and the dog, enjoy the extra length. I imagine it could be a problem on a road but the ease of the "Stop" is a safety feature. When I bought the lead I thought the Vario meant that the lead distance could be varied, which would be a great feature on a 8mt. lead and I was disappointed when the Vario turned out to be a fairly useless control that allowed adjustment to suit the users hand width. I also purchased at a later date a Flexi Soft Stop lead that fits onto the Flexi Vario via a special connector that only Flexi use. It does reduce the "jerk" at the end of the lead, (the dogs end) but I thought that it was overpriced although it had Flexi's superior design.
A great lead that I am sure will last many years.
