Chezza & Billy's THINGS!
As we are both bower birds, all manner of things have been 'saved' for a later time. But now that we have started our sorting out process, I think we might be here for quite some time (just how much STUFF can one fit in a 3 bedroom home!!!). Anyway, that old saying that someone's trash is someone else's treasure sure is true...not that our STUFF is trash - most of it is in pretty good nick, but now that we're getting near to retirement it's time to downsize and think about a smaller abode. I know that buyers will value our STUFF as we have already sold lots to happy customers. We have a pretty diverse range of items from books to jigsaws, clothes to china, toys to wool, pottery to transportation memorabilia, records to dvds .... in fact, all the things that make up a family home. We have also discovered that our kids don't want any of Granny's things, so her things are going out too......SO...Happy hunting through our items! Hope you find something you'll treasure!
Business InformationHistory/background
I started our little ebay venture to sell off our excess items at home, casually at first. But now that I have officially 'retired' from the workforce due to ill health, I have starting to sell our things seriously. We have all manner of household and collectable items on offer that have been part of our family for many years......but it's now time to thin them out!
Payment policy
I accept Paypal, Bank Transfer, Bank Cheque or Money Order. Please no personal cheques. Local delivery or pickup is available for local buyers (Cash on delivery). Payment is due within 5 days of close of auction. I try to stick with this policy for expediency, but I do understand that LIFE happens to all of us and unexpected expenses crop up from time to time. If you are struggling to make payment, dont struggle in silence - contact me and we'll work something out. I am nothing if not flexible.
Postage information
I mail out items Monday to Friday, within 24 hours of receipt of payment. I try wherever possible to use recycled packaging (save the planet and all that!). I use bubblewrap and foam packaging for all china, pottery, fragile items. Most books are packaged in bubblewrap also for added protection. I package all records in bubblewrap and new pizza boxes for protection. The thing I hate most is receiving a damaged item in the mail - so I do all I can to make sure items are packaged in such as a way as to prevent damage in transit. With that in mind I don't accept any responsibility for lost or items damaged in transit once they have been given to Australia Post. Bear in mind while waiting for your item that we live in country NSW and it seems to take the best part of a week or more to get to any part of Australia outside NSW.
Return policy
I am happy to refund on items which have not been described accurately (I endeavour to get as close as I can with my descriptions but I am not an expert!). I do not refund for change of mind. Buyer is to return the item and pay for return postage and I will refund purchase price and original postage cost if item is returned within 14 days in the same condition it was despatched. As stated in postage info, I accept no responsibility for items lost or damaged by Australia post in transit.
